Embarrassing Summer Moments

Boy, was I excited to know that I finally get to travel abroad. On our first day, we rented bikes and took them for a spin. I was riding down a hill when I suddenly lost control over the bike, started panicking, hit the brakes so hard that I flipped over and fell flat on my back. A second later the bike fell over me and I was too close to being run over by a car. We then decided to go to the beach and spend the rest of the day there. I was walking down a wooden path when I tripped, fell and started feeling a sobbing pain in my foot. Half an hour later, I was at the hospital with a doctor making a cut in my foot to take a small piece of wood out. I got back home with plastic bags around my foot, still in my bathing suit. What an amazing first day abroad!

Compliment Gone Bad

Everyone likes compliments, so I was really happy when I found one from my friend saying how beautiful I looked that day. Too bad he had this to add a second later: “You just might want to check your zipper!”

Banana Boat from Hell
I never really understood why people think that falling off a banana boat is fun until I decided to try it out myself. Everything was going according to plan, until the boat took a sharp turn and I fell off, hit my nose and started bleeding. But I wasn’t about to let them just leave me there, so I grabbed the first rope I saw. Of course, the banana boat didn’t stop, so I kept flipping in and out of the water like a fish hooked on a fishing rod. When I finally made it to shore, my friends were all clapping and laughing their heart out. “Great show,” they kept yelling. Write With TS.
