The

life-changing seminars in Cairo, and have a quick
interview with him.
Is
this your first time in Egypt?
No, this is my third time, but it’s the first time
I’ve done one of these seminars, and I hope it isn’t
going to be my last.
When did you decide to
initiate your own company?
In 1995, I grew tired of being a corporate employee,
I wanted to get much more satisfaction from what I
was doing. So I looked into the things that I love
doing in my job, and from there I decided to become
a training and developing specialist in my own
right.
You’re known to have
some sort of elegant magic in your speech. How did
you find that flow to get to people without
preaching?
Loving people is the first element. The second is,
wanting to get to know them. When I’m on stage I’m
reaching out and seeking to learn, not to teach. The
third is, I then went and studied people who were
really good at what they do and I learned what their
secret was. So that’s the elegant magic, if you
like. Thank you for the compliment. *Smile*
What were the
challenges that you faced due to the world economy
crisis?
I teach organizations and individuals to be
constantly aware of the business communities. It’s
like, there are proactive companies that go out and
push, and there are reactive companies who wait for
the problems and then solve them and there are
interactive companies that are constantly monitoring
the environment. As soon as the latter see that
there’s a potential problem, they have a plan in
place to take care of it. So the minute that we
observed that there would be a financial problem
coming, instead of waiting for it to affect us, we
say: ‘Let’s show them the solution before they have
the problem, so that they’re ready for it’.
