Fighting Skin Enemies

The Sun
You want to have a nice tan, but you have to be careful. Avoid the sun between 10 am & 4 pm, when Ultra Violet sun rays can cause your skin to wrinkle & to age faster. Also, the risk of sunburns & even skin cancer increases. What to do: Choose the right sunscreen (remember that sunscreens only protect you from UVB rays but not from UVA rays which is linked more to skin damage). You should use an equivalent amount of a full spoon on your face. Apply it 30 minutes before you’re exposed to the sun; reapply every 2 hours if you’re outdoors/on the beach.

Stress
Stress doesn’t only affect your inner body it also has a bad impact on skin, nails & hair. You may have noticed that before any major event that makes you tense, there are obvious signs on your skin like breakouts, eczema or acne due to the rise of certain stress hormones & sometimes the skin breakouts cause you to stress even more! What to do: Try to get enough sleep during the day. Ease up on the caffeine & exercise for a couple of minutes every day, especially in the morning to ease stress. Eat properly, avoid excessive amounts of sugar & junk food & don’t over exhaust yourself physically or emotionally.

Dryness
Due to summer merciless heat, your skin loses a lot of water, causing it to become dry, cracked or irritated. It can affect anyone of any age, gender or skin type.
